WHAT IF?
1. they can choose when to access resources beyond current formal hours and term dates.
2. archive (the creation of learning communities) sharing information and learning from others within the local community. opportunities to generate and share, edit and publish; materials wil continue to grow.
3. project spaces - colaborative working between adults and children. also a collaboration between different learning styles.
4. public spaces - presentation and consultation with the community.
5. ideas space - allowing the exploration of new resources: organising principle space. (study room with silence, large space which enables lots of children to work together.
6. personalisation - reconfigure the educational system to better reflect the needs of the learner (move away from one size fits all
The what If document proposes a series question based around education and its possible trajectory. The proposals underling ideology suggests and education that allows more freedom their choice of education, creating more unique individual learning environments that foster creativity and a new perspective on methods of studying. I have highlighted some of the more important elements that reflect my design proposal and elements that I would like to carry through in my design, such as this idea of PUBLIC, IDEA and PROJECT space. Additionally developing on the idea of personalised education for the learner and thinking about typologies of learner, VISUAL, KINEASTHETIC and AUDIO.
